As a Systems Operating Authority (SOA) Lead/Senior Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that Dstls digital equipment is identified, registered, audited, and fully accredited and assessed in line with Dstl and MOD policy, process and best practice. You will work with customers as a point of contact to ensure that all equipment is used in a compliant manner. Job description
In this role you will:
- Engage with customers to resolve their requirements, and provide timely and accurate
advice and guidance regarding the correct registration and accreditation, management and
disposal of digital assets. - Review business cases and documentation for the purchase of digital equipment, and
process requests and queries promptly and accurately. - Organise and conduct audit activities across Dstl sites to ensure conformance and
compliance with security and information assurance requirements. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security compliance.
- Act as one of the Dstl assessor for its digital assets via DART and the Secure by Design process.
Person specification
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills and is used to developing and
maintaining productive working relationships. - Has the ability to identify the core of an issue, gather the necessary information from others
and recommend ways forward. - Is IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Is persistent and can see things through to a conclusion.
- Is highly organised, able to handle conflicting priorities and pays good attention to detail.
