The successful candidate will be a critical part of the team, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management Office:

The Lead Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Analyst role will work as part of the PMO, embedded in the Change Delivery & Implementation function within the Planning and Change Directorate. This is a small maturing PMO requiring further development of our services.
The purpose of the Lead PMO Analyst is to support the Head of PMO in delivery, including co-ordination, planning, control, reporting and analysis.
The Lead PMO Analyst is responsible for the assurance oversight of a collection of projects that contribute to the delivery of departmental or business area objectives, providing programme level assurance, as part of the MMOs integrated assurance process.
Focussing primarily on providing insight, information and support that strengthens programme governance and enables prioritisation, decisions and effective allocation of resources.
The post holder will provide PMO administration and support Project Managers in the delivery of their project through the Project Management Framework.
The role will include considering best practice delivery frameworks, compliance and locally agreed practices, supporting the department to ensure optimal delivery of departmental/business strategic objectives through the analysis of a range of information sources and engagement with programme and project stakeholders.
