Job summary

The NCA’s Private Office provides guidance, advice and support to our Senior Civil Servants (DD, Dir, DGs and PB4). These are high profile roles working at the heart of the Agency to deliver our mission to protect the public from serious and organised crime. Working in the Private Office will provide the post holder with an in-depth understanding of agency capabilities; our strategic role to cut high-harm threats; the breadth of our operational activity; wider corporate change programmes; and the agency’s position in wider government and the national security environment.

Job description

To assist with the administration of the private office and to lead on the coordination of the principal’s diary, logistics and travel. To advise on attendance at and engagement with meetings and events. Management and coordination of expenses, claims, and similar. To contribute to the private office’s maintenance of the corporate record through the provision of material to relevant grids and planners and the logging and handling of correspondence where no Assistant Staff Officer (ASO) or correspondence officer exists. Alongside the Staff Officer and Assistant Staff Officer to build and maintain effective working relationships with SCS, senior leaders, and partners.

**To be considered, you will need to successfully complete SC Enhanced clearance before commencing the role.**
