Person specification
The role of Secretary is key to the effective working of the Parades Commission. The post holder will be the Principal Officer providing advice and guidance on all aspects of the Commissions work. The post-holder will report to the Chair of the Commission and will lead the Secretariat in delivering objectives set by the Commission.
The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of support to the Commission in its day-to-day operations including processing parades, assistance with policy, planning of the Commissions work and legislative issues. The post-holder is the designated Accounting Officer for the Parades Commission.
