Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kew’s Insight & Data Management team. We are looking for an experienced data or development operations manager to lead the Data Management team as interim Data Management Manager.

It’s an exciting time to join the team as we are in the final stages of a Kew-wide transformation project which will bring together data from across Kew allowing us a single customer view for the first time. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to make a real impact.

Job description

The role will be an opportunity to take the lead for Data Management for the next year, acting as Subject Matter Expert and ensuring the successful delivery of the solution to achieve a single customer view. Particular areas of improvement will be the delivery of improved, automated Direct Debit processes to secure the efficient operation of this multi million pound income stream, maximising income realisation each month, as well as the roll out of a hub and spoke model of data governance across Kew. 

Working closely with the Head of Insight & Data Management and the IDM managers group, the role plays a key role in policy and procedure development and implementation and is responsible for the documentation and roll out of data processes. 

Person specification

Our ideal candidate will have a proven background in a similar role with experience of data management and/or membership or fundraising operations. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively engage with stakeholders.

Interviews are planned for the week commencing 18th December.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
