Job description

Job Purpose

ORR has an internal technical operations team and service desk working in partnership with our external providers who deliver our network and application support.

Reporting to the Associate Director for Information Technology and Digital Services, the Senior Technical Lead has a key role in supporting the organisations Infrastructure alongside ensuring smooth delivery of service between all providers, maintaining service level agreements and. They will be the first point of escalation of any issues that might arise for all new providers and be expected to manage their own workload effectively. The role will have a very close working relationship with the Service Operations Manager and Security and Estates Manager within the ORR IFSD team and be expected to work with them to manage the change approval process. The role will be involved in all future IS procurement relating to provision of services.

Occasional travel to sites other than your usual office location may be required for this role.
