If so, we are looking for you to join our team at a very exciting time, as we become the Commission for Tertiary Education and Research (CTER), the new arm’s length body responsible for overseeing and funding post-16 education and research in Wales.

As we prepare for CTER to become operational from April 2024, we are keen to expand the IT and Digital Services Team so that CTER has established technical services to support the organisation from day one.

You will need to be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an ICT system design related subject, and will likely have additional technical qualifications with experience in a development role. You will be a team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise tasks effectively, and set a balance between various competing requirements.

You will have an attitude that puts information security at the forefront of your mind in everything you do.

Alongside your salary of £45,256, Higher Education Funding Council for Wales contributes
£12,219 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
