Person specification
We will ask you to:
Support the Integrated Project Team in order to deliver DIO outputs
Work collaboratively and develop skills and experience in the application of project and programme management standard methodology including planning, scheduling, financial management, risk management reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Direct delivery in collaboration with users and industry, with a view to delivery of the project within budget and time constraints
Act as the MoD focal point for resolution of all technical issues and support all performance management reporting needs
Support wider DIO business and improvement in a variety of ways including undertaking post-project lessons learned exercise and sharing/making use of best practice where appropriate.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Experience of working in the Ministry of Defence and/or other Government Departments or Public Sector organisations

Allowances

Employment Hours
The post advertised is for 37 hours net, however the Ministry of Defence offers a range of flexibilities to enable a better work-life balance for employees. Flexible working patterns will be considered.

Travel Costs

Nationality Statement
As a result of the changes to the UK immigration rules which came into effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer sponsorship for a skilled worker visa under the points-based system, where a role has been deemed to be business critical.
