Job description

HSE Training is unlike any other training provider. Our training is built around current real-world expertise, expert science and is fully aligned with the requirements of the regulator. Our training courses are developed to include practical guidance around regulations and delivered by experts in order to help organisations comply with law, enhance performance and keep workforces healthy and safe. These courses are delivered as open and in-company courses in both a live online and face-to-face setting. This role will be the administrative support to these courses.

Working as a Training Administrator, you will support the delivery of training activities and events which reach thousands of delegates each year. You will work closely with other members of the Training Team as well as liaising with colleagues from the wider division. You will be supported from day one for your learning and development into this role, ensuring you are supported every step of the way in completing your apprenticeship and getting the experience you need to excel in your new role.

At HSE, we are proud to be able to offer our people the opportunity to work in a hybrid way which combines working from home and the office. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your allocated office will be your contractual place of work. There will be a requirement to travel to the office for various activities e.g., collaborative working, supporting and training colleagues. If hybrid working is suitable for you and your role, the arrangements will be determined primarily by business need, but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. Therefore, we would encourage candidates to consider if the commute from home to the office is a feasible distance to travel before making an application. Please note that if you are successful, hybrid working will be discussed prior to taking up the post.

This role is not remote and will be initially located onsite at our HSE Buxton site 5 days’ per week with hybrid options available after roughly 6 months of service. This role may also at times require some travel within the UK.

• Process customer bookings and enquiries by telephone, email and face to face
