Job summary

- The role will support the communications team and Ministerial press secretaries to plan and deliver Ministerial visits. It will involve liaising closely with a range of communications teams and colleagues in the department to plan comms around Ministerial visits that clearly and effectively communicates the departments work.
- You will assist with writing briefing material and press notices, work with Private Offices on the programme for visits, and brief senior officials and Spads on proposed plans.
- The role will involve working with a range of different stakeholders to drive forward and agree plans that closely align with the departments long term communications objectives.
- You will have a passion for foreign affairs, diplomacy and government, and be working across high profile visits around a range of topics.
