Introduction
Catering Services sit within the Customer Experience and Service Delivery team and are responsible for the efficient operation of the House of Commons catering facilities within an agreed financial framework. Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver an excellent guest dining experience; to provide exceptional care and give a polished and professional service, exceeding our customers needs and expectations.
The successful candidate must be passionate about food and drink, customer service and the delivery of an effective and efficient product. They must be focused on the customer experience from entry to leaving the venue delivering a friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our customers, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.
Person specification
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of different groups of people.
- Experience of delivering a high standard of service in line with the objectives of a business in a diverse environment of customers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work successfully within a team demonstrating a flexible approach; understands the team goals and objectives; offers help to team members and responds willingly to requests for help.
- Able to demonstrate excellent personal organisation skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to continually learn and develop.
- Experience operating a traditional Barista coffee machine.
