Job summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for assuring that the FM service delivery partner organisation is delivering against the Industry Standard for building maintenance (SFG 20) and therefore complying with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. This activity assures Dstl that work is being undertaken in a Safe, Secure and Legally Compliant manner.
This is a leadership role with responsibility for nurturing the technical development of junior staff members.

Job description
In this role you will:
- Design and management of a level 1 assurance programme to assess that service providers deliver a safe, and contractually compliant service in line with governance processes and contractual KPIs
- Timely and accurate provision of business intelligence to enable performance reporting on the overall health of the FM contract on Dstl core sites and BSS contracts, as required
- Management information and contract KPIs against which performance and progress can be reviewed and tracked at the Service Managers Monthly Contract Meeting

Person specification
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum of three years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in FM compliance
- Understanding of the industry standard and / or framework to which Estates manages its fixed infrastructure e.g. SFG20
- Experience of providing business intelligence to enable performance reporting
- Experience of building staff engagement and creating an environment which nurtures excellence
Essential qualifications:
- Achievement of or working towards formal recognised professional Compliance / Auditor qualification e.g. Internal QMS Auditor
