Job summary

To support the delivery of the Information Assurance strategy, policy and governance by providing advice to senior colleagues on strategic issues and liaising with stakeholders on complex matters.

In managing the disparate array of activity, noting the changing demands of delivery programmes, an element of dynamic management will be necessary across the CDT to ensure equitable loading.  This may require desk officers to report to task/function leaders outside of their line management (matrix management).  Whilst the SM CDT contributes to all four functions of ISCM, the main effort is focussed on Delivery.  Whilst the maintenance of situational awareness and current tasking remains important, it should not dominate the agenda, the balance of effort should lie with the forward programme from years one to ten.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
