Job description
Youll help implement best practice and support the development of our community. This is a customer-facing role where youll provide advice and guidance on a range of different requirements while helping to shape your teams approach. Youll engage with others across the business and ensure wider compliance and standards.
You’ll represent the Data and Information Department and its aims. Youll likely complete your first role in a central team focusing on data, information or records management, to give you an understanding of our objectives.
Youll be part of a team working across a number of related subject areas such as policy, information and knowledge management, data management, data governance and compliance.
You’ll have a key role in enabling digital transformation. Youll remain adaptable to technological changes, which could include overseeing a range of systems and ensuring developments in information management tools are implemented. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the design and delivery of training packages.
Person specification
Youll be working with customers in a team environment, engaging with others across the organisation as well as close partners. So, youll enjoy working with people and be able to influence others, shape requirements, and act as a subject matter expert.
Youll have excellent problem-solving skills and have demonstrable experience applying policy and legal frameworks to a variety of situations. Creative and a self-starter, youll take ownership of your work and operate with limited supervision where appropriate. And, youll be proactive about contributing your knowledge to the Data and Information Management community, to develop new ways of working.
