Job summary
- To manage and oversee all activity on TAFMIS across all DITG Training Schools.
- To provide the necessary assurance to DITG Execs on the correct use of TAFMIS.
- To provide tuition and mentoring to all TAFMIS users and ensure the correct use of the system.
- To exploit Power BI systems for dashboarding and future planning opportunities.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Person specification
Responsible for inputting general online scheduling and statistics, the post-holder will need to exercise sound judgement and apply a keen eye for detail. They must also be capable of operating on their own and deciding on work priorities to meet tight deadlines of the training year. Whilst previous experience within the training environment is desirable, it is not essential; full training will be provided, both formal and on the job.
The post-holder will be a confident, self-motivated and articulate individual, who will work closely with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders on training forecasting and course performance. Alongside enthusiasm and motivation to succeed in the role, they will possess good levels of IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.
Desirable: Previous experience of working within an MOD training environment.

The post does not offer relocation expenses.

The sift and interview panel will run in accordance with MOD policy. The campaign will follow open and fair competition based on Success Profile Behaviours and CV and Personal Statement will be marked using the 7 score matrix.
