The Legal Services Administrator will provide support to our Legal Services team, as the first point of contact for communication coming into the Legal team. You will provide efficient delivery of administrative support to the Legal team in line with CQCs policies. The role will involve entering case data and information, preparation of case documents and compiling bundles as directed.
The successful post-holder will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, responding to queries and requests and providing project support and research to the legal team.

What you will bring
You will have excellent organisational skills, be confident and able to ensure that accurate records are kept relating to legal advice and casework. You will also need to be able to work accurately and at speed to provide administrative support on our cases, including where urgent court action is being taken or where we are working to comply with Court orders.
Experience of providing legal support within a legal team is desirable but not essential. More importantly, you must be a team player who enjoys working with other whilst being the gateway to the legal team.
Person specification
Accountabilities:
Ensure that efficient administrative support is provided to the legal advisory team in line with established service measures.
Deliver administration in line with clearly defined guidelines and precedents, with access to advice as required.
Maintain accurate record keeping relating to cases.
Compile statistics for the legal team.
Create required performance and activity reports.
Provide project support and basic research, as required by the legal team.
Provide support to the legal teams in relation to CQCs Records and Document Management policies.
Provide administrative support of case documentation such as filing, word processing, photocopying and compiling documentation packs as directed.
Provide support to legal action undertaken by the in-house team, when required.
Co-ordinate billing arrangements in relation to external panel firms.
Have the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to actively promote diversity and equality of opportunity, treat everyone with dignity and respect and avoid unlawful discrimination.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience of administration within a legal team or similar discipline.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent numeracy skills.
Excellent IT skills particularly Word and Excel.
Experience of independent research and report writing.
Excellent attention to detail.
