We are looking for a new System Integration and Management (SIAM) and B2B Director who will live the values of the organisation. You will join a business that has made significant progress on a long-term transformation to a multi-source model. This programme of change will take us into the next chapter, ensuring that we will have a strong, resilient infrastructure and a flexible and scalable operation that can continue to serve savers and the Government for generations.

Job description

Reporting into the CEO, our new SIAM and B2B Director will be responsible for shaping NS&I’s SIAM capability, and with the support of an external partner, building capability and capacity in-house. You will also lead the oversight of the current single source operational delivery and customer service and its transition to the multisource and SIAM model. You will also lead the B2B business, transitioning to a new supplier, preparing for its transformation to the new operating model and developing its future strategy.

This Director will act as a member of NS&I’s executive management team, and act as a member of NS&I’s board, contributing to debates and decision-making about the future direction of the business.

This is a demanding leadership role for a candidate with absolute integrity and a strong delivery focus. It requires an individual capable of operating comfortably at board level; influencing thinking and delivery across the business, across 3rd party suppliers and B2B Clients.

This role will require regular travel to London, if not based at this site. 

Person specification

To be successful, you will need to bring substantial senior experience in management and leadership of Service Integration & Management. You will have proven experience of building a SIAM capability in an organisation and/or acting as the SIAM SME for an organisation in transformation. You must bring deep understanding of delivery through an outsourced delivery partner and experience of close working with and understanding of IT ops. Excellent relationship management skills with significant commercial experience are essential. To underpin your ability to have impact, you must bring excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.

The profile and importance of this role is clear, we need a highly effective Director to work with the Board and executive team to ensure our ongoing transformation, current and future service delivery is underpinned by excellent business operational capabilities and customer service.

Alongside your salary of £120,000, National Savings and Investments contributes
£32,400 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
