Job description
This role sits in the Complex Delivery team, within the MODs Defence Digital organisation, and is responsible for supporting the Site Co-ordination Installation Design Authority (SCIDA) in the delivery of its outputs. The SCIDA function is responsible for the assurance of the MoD ICT infrastructure.
Work as part of a team to manage the Defence Digital SCIDA front door, responding to queries and managing the allocation of resource for SCIDA requests. As the first point of contact for customers to SCIDA, respond professionally and positively to requests.
Enable effective SCIDA direction by compiling, verifying, and analysing management information (MI) in relation to SCIDA and associated projects in the format of reports and spreadsheets.
Working alongside SCIDA colleagues maintain the SCIDA portal. Routinely review the portal to ensure available information is still current.

Responsibilities include:
- Establishing long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring timely response to SCIDA front door queries.
- Create and maintain SCIDA management information through a variety of software including Excel.
- Assist in the scheduling of tasks to SCIDA engineers, prioritising based on importance and deadlines.
- Provide support to the SCIDA project manager in the form of stakeholder management and assisting on the scheduling of tasking.

- Ability to engage and communicate with a range of colleagues and customers from a variety of functions.
- Experience of supporting the delivery of a service/project or programme.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, including the use of spreadsheets and management of emails.
- The ability to work both as part of a team and individually as and when required.
- Flexible in approach with the skill to deliver multiple objectives simultaneously and prioritise where necessary.
Dependent on the business need, there may be a requirement to travel to meetings within the UK, including possible overnight stays (or potentially occasional overseas visits).
This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station which is based on business assessment of where the work is best done) and working from home as a personal choice (if the role is suitable for this). If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

Defence Digital operates an organisation model in which every individual belongs to a Government Profession.
