Job summary

Please note: This role is currently located in Coventry. In summer 2024, we plan to relocate our Coventry office to 3 Arena Central, Birmingham, B1 2AX.

Working in the Chief Customer Officer Directorate, in Help to Buy, the Senior Manager of Supplier Performance and Relationships will be responsible for the overall customer service delivered by c150fte within the third-party Mortgage Administrator, ensuring Help to Buy borrowers receive a best-in-class Government service.

Job description

You will work with the third party to develop a robust service, excellence culture and will use customer insight and performance data to continuously improve the customer journey, minimise operational and regulatory risk and drive value for money.

A strong supplier relationship background will enable the post holder to act as a conduit to improve the overall operational interface between HE and the third party. We are looking for someone dynamic and able to work flexibly and autonomously within a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.

Person specification

Whilst the day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to “spinning several plates” at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. We need someone passionate about customer service, who is comfortable line managing and is very much data driven.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Help to Buy team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you via our application process.
